Read Time:1 Minute, 16 Second

At the onset of festival holidays, the Humuriza Tamar Foundation (HTF) has joined forces with local government, Gender equality speakers and secondary schools to initiate a compelling holiday campaign focused on fostering gender equality among youth.
The essence of the campaign revolves around empowering girls to stand up for their rights while encouraging boys to step up and support their sisters in the pursuit of equality. HTF and participating secondary schools have collaboratively organized an interactive sessions tailored to address the complexities of gender stereotypes, advocate for equal opportunities, and cultivate a culture of mutual respect among students.
This campaign seeks to empower young girls by instilling confidence, raising awareness of their rights, and promoting self-advocacy. Simultaneously, it engages boys to understand the challenges faced by their female counterparts, fostering empathy and encouraging a supportive environment.
Through active participation and enthusiastic engagement during these sessions, students have showcased a genuine interest in comprehending and advocating for gender equality. The campaign has succeeded in fostering awareness, igniting conversations, and laying the groundwork for a more inclusive and respectful school environment.
As the school calendar concludes and festivities begin, HTF remains steadfast in its commitment to continue advocating for gender equality, empowering youth, and shaping a more equitable society. This campaign is just one step towards building a future where every individual is respected, empowered, and given equal opportunities to thrive.

Join HTF in championing gender equality and empowering the youth for a more inclusive tomorrow as we are looking forward for us next session.
