Creation of Saving and Credits groups in Rubengera Sector

On 18th May 2019, Humuriza Tamar Foundation leaders met victims of sexual violence from Rubengera sector.
These young mothers have been grouped in saving groups in their villages and they elected their leaders at Sector level.
Senator Perine Mukankusi, one of HUmuriza Tamar Foundation members also gave advises to these young mothers reminding them that they are still worth and deserve a better life with their children but it’s up to them to strive for it.
Rev. Pastor Albertine NYIRANEZA, the president of Humuriza Tamr Foundation handed some materials to each saving group including books and pens to record their weekly meetings and activities in order to well manage their groups.
These created groups will be supported by HTF and after some time, members of the saving group will be eligible to apply for small loans that will help them to improve their lives and pay it back in a given time
