Humuriza Tamar Foundation (HTF) has once again demonstrated its commitment to empowering and supporting vulnerable communities with its recent initiative to provide school materials to the children of teen mothers. With the start of the 2022-2023 academic year, HTF recognized the importance of ensuring that every child has access to the necessary tools for their education.
Many teen mothers face significant challenges in providing for their children’s educational needs. Financial constraints and limited resources often make it difficult for them to equip their children with the required materials, which can negatively impact their academic performance. Understanding these difficulties, HTF took the initiative to bridge this gap and empower these children with the tools they need to succeed in school.
As part of the program, HTF generously donated notebooks, pens, bags, and mathematical sets to the children of teen mothers. The beneficiaries ranged from young ones starting nursery to those in P4 and P5. By providing these essential materials, HTF aims to alleviate the burden on teen mothers and ensure that their children have a fair chance to excel in their studies.
